Elsipogtog is one of the largest Mi’kmaq communities in Atlantic Canada. Elsipogtog First Nation is located in the Kent County Region of New Brunswick and has a population of approximately 3000 residents. Like most aboriginal communities in Canada, Elsipogtog is experiencing a population growth never before seen; approximately 45% of the of the community’s population is under the age of 25.

 

Elsipogtog Economic Development’s long term goal is to become a leader in economic development within the Kent County Region in the coming years.
